Crystal Eadie Miller

Exhibition OPENS: OCTOBER 1 - December 27

Opening Reception: October 6 from 5:30-8p

Artist Statement:

Exhibiting a blend of two series created while on a quest to seek more purpose and community in my art experiences.

'Forseen,' my latest collection, was started this year. It pleads a quest to be heard, a quest to be accepted, and a quest to be loved... perfectly loved, while diligently searching for peace. Often revealed in the unseen -- beyond the surface, where faith is empowered.

We shift from the bold color choice of 'Forseen' to the grace of 'Moments Sown,' which features reminiscent soft shadows, patterns, and blending of a coastal color palette. 'Moments Sown,' reflects earlier work to present.

'During the creative process, there are moments of frustration to triumph; but it's the 'moments that give me pause' that I savor. For in those moments, they take me somewhere familiar, where time is undefined, and the harvest is home.'

Every creative Moment Sown seams together worth, from insignificant to significant.
