Kim Kesterson Trone
Retrospective: my 50 years in art
An exhibit by Kim Kesterson Trone
Exhibition Open: October 1 - December 20
This exhibit is a reflection of my lifelong journey in art, capturing the essence of beauty through landscapes, figurative works, and abstract compositions. Each piece in this collection represents a chapter of my artistic evolution, from early influences under the tutelage of my grandmother to the classical training that shaped my style. My work is characterized by a vibrant palette and a blend of realism and impressionistic expression, with a focus on the rhythmic harmony of color and form.
The pieces on display have been curated from over 20 private collections, as well as selections from my own permanent collection. They showcase my dedication to exploring the intersection of tradition and personal expression, whether through the serene depiction of nature or the dynamic energy of abstract forms. My intention is to create art that resonates with viewers, inviting them to find their own connection to the subjects portrayed.
This exhibit is not just a retrospective of my work but a celebration of the beauty that art can bring into our lives. Whether through the calming presence of a landscape or the bold statement of an abstract, each painting is meant to evoke emotion and inspire a deeper appreciation for the world around us.
