Peace: A Juried Show

Curated by Felicia L. Reed

Exhibition Dates: October 30, 2026 - January 2, 2027
Gallery Reception: October 30, 7-10 pm

PEACE is a juried exhibition that explores peace as an active practice of healing, resilience, compassion, and shared humanity. Bringing together local and national artists working across a variety of media, the exhibition invites visitors to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what restores us—within ourselves, our communities, and the world around us.

Curated by the international award winning Washington DC-based artist and advocate, Felicia L. Reed, whose work centers on transformation and healing through art, PEACE celebrates creativity as a catalyst for connection and understanding. Through a broad spectrum of artistic perspectives, the exhibition demonstrates that beauty can emerge from struggle and that art has the power to inspire dialogue, foster belonging, and imagine a more compassionate future.

Presented in the Central Gallery at Revolution Mill from October 30, 2026 – January 2, 2027, PEACE transforms the gallery into a space for reflection, hope, and possibility, encouraging every visitor to leave with a renewed sense of purpose and the understanding that peace is something we create together.

The exhibition opens with a public Opening Reception on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 7:00–10:00 PM, featuring artist talks, a fashion stroll showcasing wearable art inspired by themes of unity and peace, live jazz, networking, and light cocktail fare. Visitors are invited to experience an inspiring evening celebrating creativity, connection, and the transformative power of art.
