Artist’s Statement
Sketchbooks are places to record the environment, experiment with different media, work out compositions, improve one’s skills, or just goof around. The challenge is to draw in it consistently. It’s so easy to skip a day … or a month.
To keep my promise of drawing in my sketchbook daily, I made it public. On November 15th, 2017, I opened the Instagram page A Daily Cute. My drawings didn’t have to be “finished” or even good, but they did need to be cute.
This exhibition consists of select works from @adailycute.
